This compact 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Module adds a LAN8720-based wired network connection to a compatible Solo2Go, Tetra2Go, or Octa2Go controller.
Stable wired networking
Use a hard-wired network connection where Wi-Fi coverage is limited or where your show network benefits from a dependable Ethernet link.
Made for RGB2Go controllers
Installs on the expansion header of a compatible Solo2Go, Tetra2Go, or Octa2Go controller.
WLED ready
Use an Ethernet-ready RGB2Go WLED image, then select the matching Ethernet type in WLED setup.
Compatibility
Requires a Solo2Go, Tetra2Go, or Octa2Go controller; controller sold separately. It is not compatible with the Duo2Go controller.
What you need
- A compatible RGB2Go controller with an expansion header.
- An Ethernet-ready RGB2Go WLED image.
- An Ethernet cable connected to your network.
An Ethernet-ready WLED image is included when this module is purchased with a Tetra2Go or Octa2Go. If you need to re-flash your controller, use the Web Flasher below.
Flash Ethernet-ready WLED
The Web Flasher is the easiest way to install the correct firmware. Open it in Chrome or Microsoft Edge, select your controller, then choose the Ethernet add-on before flashing.
WLED Ethernet setting
In WiFi Setup, select ESP32Deux as the Ethernet type.
In WiFi Setup, select ESP32Deux/Tetra2Go.
In WiFi Setup, select IoTorero/ESP32Deux/RGB2Go.
Set a gateway address in WLED. A static IP without a gateway will not work correctly.
Before you order
This is an add-on module, not a standalone controller. Confirm that your controller is a Solo2Go, Tetra2Go, or Octa2Go before ordering.
